Face coverings are required for all passengers, and we are following a strict cleaning protocol. Please let us know if you have any questions, and thank you for your support.

Welcome to Our Scenic Flights of Acadia Blog

We hope to introduce you to some of our favorite attractions and things to do in and around Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and the Downeast area of Maine throughout the summer season. Coming to Scenic Flights of Acadia has been a favorite attraction for over 50 years for thousands of people visiting the Bar Harbor area. We hope you will join us for one of the most spectacular ways of seeing Maine, from above!

Taking a Scenic Flight will allow you the opportunity to take fantastic photographs of your vacation. Our experienced Air Tour Pilots can offer tips on how to get the best photos from the air and our flights are designed to give you the very best views of the area. Professional photographer Colleen Miniuk-Sperry has written a very popular book, Photographing Acadia National Park, which has several photographs taken from our planes. She developed a handout for us to give our passengers to assist them in taking aerial photos. We also have her autographed book for sale at a discount when you take a flight with Scenic Flights of Acadia.

We live here, work here and get to enjoy our time flying, boating, kayaking, hiking, camping and eating in the Acadia Region. Our knowledgeable local pilots will help you pick what activities, restaurants or lodging would fit you best – all you have to do is ask!

So come visit and see what taking an air tour from Scenic Flights of Acadia is all about or as we call it Flightseeing! Just look for the small red building on Route 3 at the airport in Trenton.
