What You’ll See on the All Acadia Flight
This is our most popular flight, and it earns that reputation every time. In 35 minutes with Scenic Flights of Acadia you’ll see the entire perimeter of Mount Desert Island from above — coastline, mountains, harbors, and three historic lighthouses. By the time you land you’ll have seen Acadia in a way that most visitors never do.
On this flight you’ll see:
- Bar Harbor and the busy waterfront from above
- Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the Eastern Seaboard
- Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Bass Harbor
- Three historic lighthouses along the island’s perimeter
- The dramatic cliffs and open ocean along the western shore
- The full shape of Mount Desert Island laid out below you

What Passengers Say About the All Acadia Flight
Gary K. We took the Schoodic Point Flight on a beautiful clear morning. Our Pilot was very thorough in prepping us for the flight. The headsets made for a very convenient way of communicating and needing to talk over the plane’s engine. The pilot was very engaging and pointed out points of interest. We were satisfied with our choice of the shorter flight, having been to the area several times and having some familiarity with the topography. If you are a first time, you may want to opt for the All-Acadia flight. Either way, I’m pretty sure, it will be one of the most scenic flight experiences you will ever take.
